Hilite uses a combination of AI models tuned for conversational speech. Accuracy is typically above 95% for clear audio in English, and improves further after audio enhancement. You can correct any transcript errors by typing directly in the editor.
Transcription is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, and Japanese, with more being added. Filler word detection is currently English-only.
Yes. Every edit is non-destructive. You can undo any deletion or restructure with Cmd+Z, and you can restore the original recording at any time from the project history.
Yes. Upload any MP3, WAV, M4A, or FLAC file and Hilite will transcribe it and open it in the text editor. Supported up to 4 hours per file on Pro and Business plans.
Yes — one episode per month on the free plan includes full transcript editing, filler word detection, and silence removal. Pro and Business remove the episode cap.
