Subtle removes only the most obvious noise. Standard adds mild echo reduction and voice lift. Strong adds aggressive noise suppression and loudness normalisation. Max applies full broadcast processing including dynamic EQ and limiting. You can A/B preview before applying.
Enhancement significantly improves most recordings — removing noise, reducing echo, and lifting the voice. Extreme cases (very high background noise, heavy clipping) will improve but not fully recover. The best results come from a reasonable source recording.
Yes. When you record with guests in Hilite, each participant's audio is captured on a separate track. Enhancement is applied per-track so each person gets the optimal treatment for their specific recording environment.
-16 LUFS integrated for stereo output (the Apple Podcasts and Spotify standard), and -19 LUFS for mono. True-peak limiting is applied at -1 dBTP to prevent clipping on all platforms.
