01 — PURPOSE
Decide what the music should do
For a coaching session, music should only accompany client-approved recaps or exercises, never private material without consent. Mark the exact opening, transitions, background sections, and ending before choosing a track.
02 — RIGHTS
Choose music you are allowed to use
Use original, commissioned, public-domain, or properly licensed music. Read the license for commercial use, podcasts, social platforms, attribution, and redistribution, then keep proof with the project.
03 — VOICE
Finish the spoken edit first
Remove retakes and mistakes through the transcript before mixing. Preserve deliberate pauses and export or save a clean voice master so the music decision remains reversible.
04 — MIX
Place the track and protect spoken clarity
Start the music lower than expected, fade it around entrances and endings, and reduce it further beneath important words. Avoid abrupt loops and check that quiet speech remains intelligible.
05 — REVIEW
Review the complete mix and its destination
Listen on headphones, phone speakers, and at low volume. Confirm the license covers the destination, then export a master, delivery copy, and any required attribution.
Give a coaching session a musical layer without losing the words.
