How to record a Bible study

Outline the passage, discussion sections, speaker order, and any material that should remain private.

The target is clear scripture readings, teaching, and group discussion. Decide the length, sections, and final destination before recording.

Choose a quiet, soft-furnished room. Keep the microphone a consistent distance from the speaker and remove preventable noise before using processing.

Record a short section at realistic volume. Listen for clipping, echo, plosives, background noise, and any change in tone when the speaker moves.

Capture a Bible study in manageable sections. When a mistake happens, pause and repeat the full sentence so the edit is easy to locate.

Keep the original recording until the final version has been reviewed.
