01 — PLAN
Define the listener experience
Mark long pauses, lower-energy transitions, and an ending that does not wake the listener.
The target is soft, even narration without abrupt transitions. Decide the length, sections, and final destination before recording.
02 — SETUP
Prepare a repeatable recording space
Choose a quiet, soft-furnished room. Keep the microphone a consistent distance from the speaker and remove preventable noise before using processing.
03 — TEST
Test the voice, room, and levels
Record a short section at realistic volume. Listen for clipping, echo, plosives, background noise, and any change in tone when the speaker moves.
04 — RECORD
Record in sections with clean retakes
Capture a sleep meditation in manageable sections. When a mistake happens, pause and repeat the full sentence so the edit is easy to locate.
Keep the original recording until the final version has been reviewed.
05 — EDIT
Edit through the transcript and finish the audio
Use Hilite to locate spoken mistakes through the words, remove unwanted retakes, improve clarity conservatively, and review the full recording before export.
Record a sleep meditation with fewer technical barriers.
Capture, edit, enhance, and prepare spoken audio in Hilite.
