How to make ASMR video audio

Create the complete sound layer for an ASMR video—from trigger plan and room setup to editing, enhancement, and synchronized delivery.

By The Hilite team

01 — FORMAT

Define the ASMR experience

Choose the audience, trigger families, spoken versus no-talking format, stereo approach, length, and visual sequence. Use only props, music, and scripts you may publish.

02 — SETUP

Build a quiet repeatable signal path

Control the room, isolate the microphone and props from vibration, set conservative gain, and monitor the full chain on headphones.

03 — RECORD

Capture organized trigger sections

Record room tone, spoken slates, and complete trigger sequences. Keep alternate takes separated by silence and use sync references when picture is recorded separately.

Capture the audio layer in the browser.

04 — EDIT

Shape and clean the audio layer

Edit spoken material through the transcript, preserve intentional sounds and silence, and improve clarity only as far as the texture remains natural.

Shape spoken and trigger sections through the transcript.
Improve clarity conservatively without erasing intentional texture.

05 — DELIVER

Synchronize, review, and publish

Place the audio beneath the picture in a video editor, review on headphones and phone speakers, confirm rights and disclosures, then export the final video.

Prepare the finished audio and supporting content for its destination.
